Middle Click to Close Tabs in Konqueror
Run this in konsole:
kwriteconfig –file konquerorrc –group “FMSettings” –key MouseMiddleClickClosesTab –type bool true
Thats it, now close any running konqueror windows and run konqueror again, you should now be able to middle click to close tabs, much better than the default behaviour

KDE Screensaver Hotkey
This is how you can get the kde screensaver to show up on a keypress, i have used the pause/break button for this tutorial since i have not found a program that uses it, you can however use any one you like.
